Veneers are designed for patients who are unhappy with the appearance of their teeth. They can alleviate a variety of issues, including tooth discoloration, misshapen teeth, and chipping.
Let’s take a look at who’s a good candidate for veneers and what you can expect when getting them.
While veneers can address many cosmetic concerns, they’re not for everyone. For instance, we only recommend veneers if the discolored tooth can’t be fixed with whitening. We also don’t recommend them for patients with minimal tooth structure.
Some patients are better candidates for bonding. If you’re unsure which service is best for you, our dentist will go over both options with you, helping you get a brighter smile.
We create and apply your veneers over the course of two appointments:
The veneers are back from the laboratory after two or three weeks. The laboratory-fabricated veneers are usually made using porcelain or pressed ceramic and are aesthetically pleasing.
They should look and function much like your normal teeth. That said, we recommend avoiding hard, sticky food.
